THE KRIS YOUMANS BAND
About Us

The Songs began on a bluff overlooking the Vernon River in Savannah, Georgia, under oak trees & Spanish moss. From coastal country living to the backroads of West Georgia, you will hear what  Kris Youmans   has always known - heartfelt, original music.

One of the most recognizable instruments in country music is the pedal steel guitar.  Warren "Barefoot Slim" Hall  plays the "cryin" pedal steel & lap steel with passion & twang reminiscent of the early days...gliding into chords and playing all of the "purdy" riffs. A Fairburn native, now part of the Newnan music community and the Kris Youmans Band. He also plays with Daniel Williams & Honky Tonk Deluxe  out of Newnan, Ga, and has added pedal steel to some notable studio
recordings recently.
